Good Morning Everyone!
This weeks challenge in the Designer Darlings Contest at Stuff to Scrap was a little different, ok A LOT different. Instead of a mini kit like we've been doing the last few weeks we had to photograph or scan 3 objects and extract them. Because it was only 3 objects they are going to be very picky so we had to be good. I have to say I'm very proud of my work. I didn't want to mess with any possibly copyright problems to I photographed fruit I had bought to eat with my daughter. My camera was seriously not up to the task, it has no image stabilization and kept coming out looking good at 25% but blurry at 100%. Thankfully my mom came to visit Tuesday with her camera which has image stabilization. When she got here Deirdre was asleep and I already had my "studio" set up on Deirdre's high chair tray on her couch covered in white printer paper... yeah I'm high-tech like that. So I took about 50 photos to ensureI got good ones and got them on my computer by the time Deirdre got up from her nap. Double Lucky me, she was so thrilled to see Nana that between playing with Nana eating lunch and her afternoon nap I was able to do the extracting. I have to agree with Lizard Dau Designs that straight/smooth lines are WAY harder than naturally jaggy ones, but also agree to Strawbeary Designs and that pineapple took forever! The bananas and orange didn't take very long once I googled around and found an easier/more smooth way to do them.Ok enough takling your ear off, I have 1 CU fruit here and follow the above link to get my first 3.These are CU ok, please read my TOU included.
If you have a minute please vote for me HERE. This week they are limiting it down to the top 10.
Thanks for the fruit! I didn't realize there was a vote, but I did go and vote. Lots of great choices!
