Manda’s Scrapping Creations has a new pack of templates out today! Template pack 10! I absolutely love Manda’s Templates and have most of her packs either from CT work or purchasing plus a tonne that she has given out free in the past and I have to say she truly is my favourite template maker. She labels all the layers so there’s no guess work involved. There’s always room for journaling, though they look just as good without (I’m horrible at journaling).  I really can’t say enough good things about her templates. This set is $2 through Wednesday so make sure you grab them!

I never mentioned it on my blog but last month Manda's Scrappin' Creations stopped selling at STS. I was sad because she was my favourite designer and I was ALWAYS using her kits. Much to my surprise (and delight) I saw a layout someone had made with one of her kits (a NEW kit) and after a little digging I disovered she is now at Enchanted Studio Scraps! I contacted her and am back on her CT! I'm so excited. That all happened a couple weeks ago but due to the designer darlings contest and other CT work I didn't get to playing with her stuff until tonight. This is BEAUTIFUL kit though, perfect for Valentines Day Called "I Heart You". Come back Friday for a Brag Book Blog Train in time to make a special Gift for the ones you love!

Christmas Spirit

Happy Saturday Everyone!

Tonight we are going to my husbands Christmas Party while my mom babysits the wee munchkin. I'm pretty excited, I haven't met hardly anyone at his work yet, though I do hear the odd "Hello Rob's Wife" over the phone when I talk to him. I met one guy from his work at a Hockey Game we went to on Remembrance Day. I have a beautiful kit to introduce today, Christmas Spirit by Manda's Scrappin' Creations. It can be found at Stuff to Scrap, but get it quick as she is leaving December First and I'm not sure how long her creations stay up afterwards.





I made a two page layout with this kit, though I realized after that it was all paper, no elements. I still like it a lot though. But I decided to make a quick page to show of some of the great elements.

Teddy and Me

Good Morning!

I have an adorable kit to show off today. It's Teddy and Me by Manda's Scrappin' Creations and Every After Ever Moment. I love all the colours in this kit. The blue and browns are very me and the orange, red & yellow are very much my daughter.




My first layout is of my daughter and her best friend since before she was born really.



My second layout is of my daughter and her lovey. Her cow.

At The Pond

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you enjoyed all the Freebies last week and if you missed them they are still up for grabs! I don't have any freebies for you today but I do have a cute new kit to show off! The kit is called At The Pond by Manda' Scrappin' Creations and like all of her kits, you know I just love it!



The warm browns, greens and yellows remind me of spending weekends at my aunts farm when I was a girl. I think that's what inspired my first layout. My daughters jean dress looked very country to me.




My second layout is of my daughter enjoying the wading pool for the first time this summer.

Flower Funk

This is probably one of the posts I am most excited about. Late last month Manda's Scrappin Creations & I got together and worked on a collab project called Flower Funk. The kits will be available for free download next week on both of out blogs. Monday will be papers, Tuesday elements, Wednesday alphas. As a special treat I've made 2 sets of quickpages that I will be offering Thursday and Friday. As a sneak peek, here are 2 layouts I made with the kit (which will be included as quickpages next week).

Destiny

Good Evening Everyone and if you are in Canada I hope you are having a great Thanksgiving!

This week I had the pleasure to work with a beautiful kit by Manda's Scrappin' Creations called Destiny. I just love the colours: pink, lime, teal, yellow and brown are perfect for little girl layouts!



When I was going trough my pictures deciding what to scrap with this kit I saw that the yellow and brown perfectly matched the Easter Pictures we took. Deirdre was just 7 months old, too little for candy & eggs so she got bath toys. As you can see, she loved them.



I have a lot of pictures that look like this, only different clothing. Deirdre lately has become obsessed with the camera and crawls straight for me if she sees me taking it out. I love the alpha with this kit, because it's clear you really could use it on ANYTHING.



As usual I made a Quickpage aswell, taking advantage of a lot of the fabulous elements.

Sunday Drive

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm still healing slowly but surely from my bronchitis, I'm hoping I'll get back to a more frequent posting schedual soon. It's October 1st and that's very exciting for a lot of reasons. The first of the month is always the start of the monthly Blog Train at Stuff to Scrap. I'm not taking part this month (but I am next month) but the colour pallette is beautiful and you can get started on the train here. Also the beginning of the month is when most of the new challenges start at Stuff to Scrap (and I REALLY love the challenges). This month I'm even hosting one, the "More Than Words" Word Art Challenge. If you haven't already you should definitely check it out here.

Now for the main purpose of my blog post today, Sunday Drive, the beautiful new kit from Manda's Scrappin' Creations.



I know she geared this kit towards little boys, but the colour pallette definitely works for girls too, and as my daughter has proven, little girls like cars too.



This is my daughter at her friends birthday party. Daddy drove her around in that car all day because Deirdre didn't want out of it.



Deirdre is obsessed with her cell phone (my old dead cell phone). Best kid toy ever.



I made this quick page geared towards little boys.
