New Years Eve

Good Morning Everyone!

It's still busy busy busy around here. Deirdre can tell something is going on and has decided to stop napping in case she might miss it. This makes cleaning, baking etc VERY difficult to impossible. She did the same thing the week before her birthday. For that reason only I can't wait until Christmas is over so we can get back to routine. I have a beautiful, elegant, romantic kit to share with you today : New Years Eve by Bubble Scrap Designs.



I scrapped pictures from my wedding since the purple went nicely.

Just another day up here in Canada, though there's no TV so I guess it gives me more Wii time so thanks! Holiday Card Templates

Good Morning!

It's Wii day! I'm very excited to get my wii today after swimming lessons ( because if we get it before swimming lessons there's a good chance we'll skip them lol). Also my daughter chose last night to start walking all over the place, well all over the living room. She walked back and forth for hours on end it was amazing. Christmas is going to be so much fun I can hardly wait. Helping me get into the Christmas spirit is these beautiful Holiday Card templates by Pretty Pixels available at Enchanted Studio Scraps and My Life and Scrap.



I made a few sample cards using Copacetic also available from Pretty Pixels. I can't wait to get Deirdre's holiday dress so we can get a real card worked up!

Classic Bouquet

I hope your weekend is going well, mine is going pretty good, still waiting onmy door for my desk but hopefully he will get that done today. I have another new kit for you today (are you getting sick of me yet?). This one is called Classic Bouquet by BubbleScrap Designs available at MLAS. This kit is fill of beautiful blacks & whites aswell as floral tones that really lends itself to black and white photography aswell as colour.



I decided to use black and white photos for my two layouts.

Just Lovely

Good Morning!

I hope you are enjoying your Saturday! I love Saturdays because I get to sleep in. Hubby & I trade off weekend days. I sleep in Saturday morning while he gets up with the baby and he sleeps in on Sundays. We also get to go swimming on Saturday, I purposely booked swimming lessons for midday though so it wouldn't interfere with my sleeping in. Today I have a new elegant kit to introduce you to called Just Lovely by Pretty Pixels available at MLAS & ESS. And it really is just lovely.

 

I made 2 layouts with it and just love how elegant they both look. The first is my daughter with Santa last year. The second is from our wedding.

A Golden Christmas

Happy Friday!

Yesterday was a killer for me. My daughter was inconsolable most of the day. She wouldn't let me put her down but didn't want to sit nice, just climb, punch, kick & scratch me. Fun times. Today I have a new kit from BubbleScrap Designs for you called A Golden Christmas. It's a really lovely and elegant christmas kit with some homey feelings to it.

Make a Wish

I hope you enjoyed Digital Scrapbooking Day yesterday! Wow was it ever a busy busy day! I tried to get as much done as possible and participate as much as I could but I just couldn't do all that I wanted to! There's still more fun tomorrow and all month long and I'm loving it! Today I'm introducing you to a new kit from Pretty Pixels called Make a Wish. This is a bright and colourful birthday kit with 12 papers and 37 elements.



My first layout  is from my daughters first birthday this past August.





The second layout is from her best friends first birthday a month later. We dressed them both in tutus and it was so cute.

My Little Wonderland

Good Morning.

Are you enjoying the blogging everyday? I'm enjoying the creating that goes into most of these posts so I hope so! Today I'm going to introduce a really neat fantasy kit by BubbleScrap Designs called My Little Wonderland. The kit is very soft and flowy and has a lot of elements ranging from cartoony mushrooms to real flowers.



I've also decided to try to name my layouts. So my first layout is called Solitary Moments.



And my second is called Fairy Wonderland. I really like the cartoon city I made.



I promise I will have Freebies again soon. I've just been awfully busy lately.

Twisted Halloween

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a fabulous Halloween. We had a really busy day, we had swimming lessons in the morning, after that we went to the mall with our friends and met up with Daddy for lunch. Did a bit of shopping before heading home for a quick nap before trick or treating. We thought trick or treating at the mall was a good idea. No. It was a zoo, we didn't care about candy but we couldn't even get any good pictures of the little girls in their costumes. We are wearing the costumes to the park this afternoon to get pictures, hopefully my child smiles this photoshoot. Anyhow today I'm introducing a cute kit to scrap all those Halloween pictures I hope everyone else managed to get. It's Twisted Halloween by Bubble Scrap Designs.



Unfortunately I had no spooky pictured... of my pink butterfly... but I still think this layout turned out good.



My daughter, as you will learn, is in love with the colour orange. Always has been, it's kind of strange. I indulge her though and so i couldn't NOT do an orange layout.

Cheeky Monkey

Hey Everyone!

I hope you are enjoying the Blog Train, getting filled up on good freebies instead of candy! HaHa! I have another kit to introduce you to today and I have to say it's one of my favourites that I have worked with so far! The kit is called Cheeky Monkey by Pretty Pixels. It's available at both MLAS & ESS (links in the sidebar).



I love the littke monkey's and as it is with a lot of people we have called our daughter Monkey since she was born. Everyday she lives up to it more and more. I figured out how to use brushes to make a frayed edge look and have used it in several layouts since. I just really like the look.



I cut out the monkey boarder of the top paper in this one and really like the way it looks.

So Yesterday

Good Morning!

I meant to type this up last night to have this out first thing this morning but spent the evening hanging out with my husband instead so you get a mid-morning post today :) I can't ACTUALLY type in the early morning because my one year old likes to type on the keypad while I type and it makes it unreadable. Today I'm introducing to you a beautiful kit by Pretty Pixels called So Yesterday. As always her kits can be purchased at both MLAS & ESS .This kit is full of Blues, Pinks and Purples and the Patterned papers are especially fantastic.



I think this kit is especially good for moms of little girls, it matches so much of their clothes already that it looks like the kit was made for those pictures.

For these layouts I used pictures from our Fall Photoshoot last week.








The second kit is Citrus Medley which is so perfect for a lot of my photos as my daughter loves the colour orange.



Which is pretty obvious I guess as she's wearing orange in both layouts. I really never liked orange as a colour but it's starting to grow on me I guess.

Copacetic

Heyas Everyone!

Happy Saturday! I have another new fabulous kit to introduce you to! This one is copacetic by Pretty Pixels. It's available now at My Life and Scrap and starting October 23rd at Enchanted Studio Scraps. This kit is called Copacetic and I just love the warm earthy feel of it. It reminds me of a favourite sweater.



The first layout I made with it I fell in love with the earthy brown paper and the brads/flair elements. The felt frame just pulled everything together with that warm comforting feel.



The second layout I made I got inspiration from the tree element. I would love to do a larger version with grandparents etc on it, maybe I'll get some good pictures after Christmas.

My New Designer Pretty Pixels

Hello Everyone!

I have a brand new designer I CT for this week called Pretty Pixels. Her stores can be found at My Life and Scrap now and Enchanted Studios Scraps starting October 23rd. I'm sure you'll agree that her designs are beautiful and have so many possible uses. The first kit of hers I had the chance to use is called Cutie Patootie. I don't have a good preview of the entire but these are the papers.



I made this layout of my sister in law with my daughter when she first came home from the hospital, the colours suited the picture perfectly.



This layout uses one of the Templates that came with the bundle pack available on MLAS (the alpha is also only available in the bundle.




I have used this kit in a few challenges already so you are sure to see more of it. Stay tuned tomorrow when I announce a big sale!
